Objective

Genozip Academic is a license designed for academic researchers and institutions, at no cost, or at a fraction of the cost of a commercial license.

Functionality

​

Genozip Academic is functionally equivalent of Genozip Enterprise.

Eligibility

 

Genozip Academic comes in two flavors: paid and free. Both have the same eligibility criteria:

 

1. Institution: Your organization must be an academic research institution. By "academic research institution" we mean an organization whose primary mission is to contribute to the scientific record by publishing papers in journals. This excludes hospitals of any type, including university hospitals.

2. No Commercial Data: The data was not acquired in the context of any kind of service for which you or your institution got paid  (including via a grant or government funding). Examples of services include: sequencing, bioinformatics, diagnostic, clinical, research-on-contract, IT, product development, inspection, dataset aggregations for (free or paid) consumption by external users.
